Sartomer has recently introduced Krasol NN prepolymers, which function as binders for granulated rubber composites. Krasol NN prepolymers were designed to produce composites by coating/binding granulated rubber products. Rubber-based composites produced from Krasol NN grades exhibit good hydrolytic stability, low temperature flexibility, resistance to acid and alkaline solutions, as well as physical and mechanical properties. Target markets for this product include vibration absorption segments for rail transportation, anti-noise paving tiles, sports surfaces, playground surfaces and panels for railway crossings.
